Tomáš Hrůza is Czech audiovisual artist and educator. He was born in 1979 in Brno, Czech Republic. Between 1993 - 1998 he worked as a set designer and lighting technician at Studio House in Theater Goose on a String (led by Eva Tálská). He graduated from high school in the field of mechanics and programmer of CNC machines, then graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Technical University in Brno branch Video-Multimedia-Performance (Keiko Sei, majoring R., P. Rónai). It deals with the realization of interactive generative graphics and video for live music (collaborated with musicians such as Michal Mariánek, Ensemble Marijan, Vít Zouhar) and implementation stage video projection. His original works presented at festivals such as the Audio Art Festival 2004 , Next Wave Festival 2004 Entermultimediale 2005.
Since 2003 participates in its creation of a visual scene for the realization of projects of director Magdalena Švecová, Rocco Rappl, Jiri Nagy, Alena Vaňáková, Zdenek Plachy, Roman Groszmann, Vladimir Moravek, Jiri Nekvasil, Thomas Studeny, J.A. Pitínský, George Herman. The theaters also works as a certified expert on media servers and check-in systems Christie Pandoras Box and thanks to external collaboration with Art Lighting Production s.r.o. Teaches at the Faculty of Fine Arts VUT in Brno in the studio Multimedia and Cabinet audiovisual technology and an external lecturer for Music Faculty of Janáček Academy of Performing Arts.
He teaches at the Faculty of Fine Arts BUT, Cabinet audiovisual technology and studio Multimedia, and giving courses Fundamentals of multimedia technology, interactive technology, Fundamentals of Mac OS X within the Cabinet audiovisual technologies FFA BUT.
